We had to include our constantly changing and expanding group of special people who offer their time and energy to help move the cause forward. We salute you all!

Land Restoration and Reforestation — restoring previously arable areas affected by illegal mining and unsustainable timber felling.
The Project
Through this land reclamation and reforestation project in partnership with Chiefs, local government, farmers and local communities, we are restoring, replenishing and replanting land around vital water sources in Ghana's Eastern Region.
The Kwahu district in the Eastern Region has been devastated by illegal gold mining ('Galamsey') as well as illegal sand and clay mining. Vast areas of land are now rendered dysfunctional, with disrupted ecosystems, making it harder for people to grow food locally. Other serious consequences include the polluting and redirecting of waterways.
We worked with The Chief of the affected lands, The Obomeng Hene, Nana Effah Opinamang III, local miners, community groups and farmers to reclaim an initial 20 hectares of distressed land and plant 30,000 trees. We continue to move forward with the Sub250 Ghana project of Land Reclamation, Restoration and Reintegration.
Our primary goal remains to assist in the reclamation and revitalizing of distressed lands, the introduction of eco-friendly and sustainable farming practices and agroforestry methods. We are currently working towards the planting of 250,000 trees, specifically chosen to help restore ruined ecosystems.
Surface mining in Ghana poses major challenges to the environment. Land degradation results in significant disruption to established ecosystems — devastating soil biodiversity, leading to increased soil temperature, loss of nutrients, erosion, and changes in topography and hydrology.
Life-Changing Donations
By working together, we can make a greater impact on the world around us. Every donation, large or small, will be used to support life-changing programs in areas of high need.
Reclaiming affected land and returning it to agricultural use helps mitigate climate change, contributes to food security, provides economic benefits and promotes rural development.
Donate
Project SUB250 GHANA will utilize funding to help plant 10,000 trees, contributing to global climate efforts and reforestation initiatives.
Donate
Tree nurseries play a crucial role supporting Ghanaian farming communities by propagating and distributing tree seedlings to farmers for reforestation and soil protection.
Donate
Equipment donations are fundamental to the African farmer. Equipment donated is the initial start they need for all their agricultural activities.
Donate
Education and training in reforestation and farm management is an essential requirement of modern day farming — a concept that sustains the human population.
Donate
Families benefit from the trees as they provide both fruit and firewood for the future for their own consumption and in some cases, income generation.
DonateWe firmly believe that if more people knew about Project SUB250 GHANA and the good work we do, we would have the support we need to expand our operations. Even liking and sharing our pages on Instagram, Facebook and TikTok can make a massive difference.

Getting involved with our NGO is a powerful way to make a tangible impact in the lives of those who need it most. Whether through volunteering, donations, or advocacy, every action counts in building a better, more equitable world for all.
Upcoming Projects
The Pride of Africa Foundation aims to empower all, particularly women and youth through health, education, entrepreneurship, and employment initiatives.
Working with local Chieftaincy, MOFA, the EPA and the community, we will be reclaiming, revitalising and returning to a sustainable, eco-friendly commercial farming state, an initial 100 acres of farm land distressed by sand and gold mining.
Providing business incubation services, including mentorship, training, and funding, to support start-ups for aspiring women and youth entrepreneurs based in Kwahu, Eastern Region.
We are engaging with diaspora communities to identify opportunities for collaboration and investment in the Kwahu District in the Eastern Region.
Be proactive, join us on the journey and step up and help make an impact. We look forward to hearing from you.

The work we do is always only possible by the donations, JV partnerships and grants that we receive. If you have something to offer the cause, be it time or money, it is always greatly received. Thank you for your continued support.
